Kiwiana
In Art, the students were looking at the topic of kiwiana. The Year 8 students did a lino print depicting a New Zealand scene and then placed their print in a frame about kiwiana images/icons. The Year 7 students did a pastel and crayon composition about kiwiana.
Wonderful for your Tamaki Artists to post everything at once like this, maybe next time you could put all the artwork in a slideshow as one post? I think clearly students of Tamaki Intermediate are getting quality learning with their Art.
Thank you for your positive input! I prefer to showcase my talented artists individually. P.S quote from Dorothy. I will however learn how to do a slideshow in due course!
I like the students art being individualised in this way as well. Maybe a few select students and photos of their progression from beginning to end would be good. What about some reflections from the students so they can talk about their learning? Just some food for thought.
Tamaki Intermediate School closed down in 2012. This account is used to access the online material posted by Teachers and students between 2008 and 2012. Any questions about this should be addressed to the Ministry of Education
