Year 7 topic for Art was Fish. Emphasis was upon observation, composition and pattern.
Year 8 topic for Art was Landscape using lino printing. They created a frame to go around the finished print.

Hi Year 7 and 8 artists. Your art work is so inspiring. I can see that you have taken great care with your designs and are obviously proud of your artworks. The compositions and the frames show originality of ideas. Lino printing is a tricky medium but you have aced it. Congratulations.
I am looking forward to seeing what other kiwiana you are going to work on, year 7 students. It's a fantastic topic for all sorts of media.
